My name is Steve and I am an avid music listener. Music is such an important part of my life, I couldn’t live without it. I constantly have music on when I can and I am always on the lookout for new artists and new albums that will captivate me.
The purpose of this site is very simple; I shall take an album at random from my collection and review it and give it a mark out of ten. As they are from my collection, the majority of the reviews should be quite favourable. However, I do own some poor albums and if they pop up then I will review them fairly. The main aim is to be as honest as I can. Just because I love an artist it doesn’t mean I will automatically give it a high rating and the same goes for if I am not keen on them. I will not like an album just because it is considered cool, neither will I berate an album just because the artist is unpopular with the masses. I take the album, listen to and carefully consider how it sounds and feels as an album. The albums that are reviewed are also familiar to me as well, the reviews are not based on just one listen. All reviews are subjective and are entirely my opinion, they are how I feel and everyone else is entitled to their own views and more than welcome, encouraged in fact, to post their views in the comments section for each post.
